Glengoyne single malt takes to the skies

07 May, 2009

Glengoyne Highland Single Malt has gained a listing with Scotland’s low fares airline, flyglobespan.

50 ml miniatures of Glengoyne 10 years old will be the only single malt available onboard all flyglobespan flights, including the airline’s Atlantic routes.

The two independent Scottish companies have undertaken a joint initiative in mutual core markets throughout the UK, Spain and Canada. Reflecting their shared commitment to high quality and passion for Scotland’s unique offering this Homecoming year, planned activity includes radio advertising, contests, competitions and bottle collaret promotions, rolled out over the next 12 months.

"Bagpipe Idol", an on-air promotion with Canadian Halifax Radio, will give listeners the chance to win a trip to Scotland, with a VIP distillery tour and blending session in Glengoyne’s state-of-the-art Blending Room. Other initiatives include off-trade bottle collaret promotions to win flights with flyglobespan and an advertising campaign throughout the in-flight magazine, Globe.
