UK: Trade talent needed for Vinderella panto

18 March, 2009

Want to be involved in the Benevolent and Theatre of Wine panto? Oh yes you do.

Got a hankering for Broadway? Dreams of Drury Lane? Think your Oscar speech could knock Gwyneth Paltrow’s socks off?

Then you should sign up for the Benevolent and Theatre of Wine panto – Vinderella.

The script is a modern take on the classic pantomime Cinderella, with all the humour, double entendres, slapstick, amazing costumes and special effects that you could wish for. Of course the occasional joke about wine may slip in.

Director Daniel Illsley, director of Theatre of Wine, has been involved in directing and acting in both plays and films, he most recently directed a film that won Best Edit at the Greenwich Film Festival in 2005.

The company is looking for cast and crew: actors, make-up artists, hairdressers, costume makers, set designers, marketeers and more. No previous experience required.

Rehearsals will take place throughout 2009 in a workshop style, ready for the live performances in January 2010.

Vinderella will be performed at: The John McIntosh Centre, The London Oratory School, Seagrave Road, London SW6 1RX

20 to 23 January 2010

If you are interested in getting involved in Vinderella, please email Jane Holly c/o Theatre of Wine: msjaneholly@googlemail.com

She’s behind you.
