This brings an end to the brewer’s five-year partnership with supplier Mitie and the new service is said to offer improved flexibility and reliability to its on trade customers.
James Rowe, sales operations director at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I said: “Bringing our drinks dispense service in-house is a demonstration of our continued commitment to our customers in the on trade.
“We are constantly looking at new ways we can improve our service to pubs and bars across the UK and are confident that aligning our dispense service in-house will ensure we are working to the highest standards.”
In addition to a focus on quick response times, this should provide customers with access to the latest technology, including diagnostic tools and more environmentally-friendly solutions.
The investment is said to provide engineers across the UK with training programmes, closer links to the wider business and improved IT and planning systems.
Budweiser Brewing Group brews Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Bud Light, Michelob ULTRA and Beck’s.
