Patrón honoured at Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards

16 September, 2019

Patrón Tequila was highly commended in the Economic Sustainability category at the inaugural Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards in London last week.

The Footprint Drinks Sustainability Awards is the only initiative to honour the achievements of companies in specific areas of sustainability and responsible business practice in the out of home sector and its supply chain.

The awards are open to drinks businesses, suppliers and stakeholders of all sizes operating in the hospitality and out of home arena: brand, manufacturer, supply chain, distributor or operator.

The Economic Sustainability Award looked at those companies that have driven cost savings or business advantage introducing a strategy that supports sustainability.

Matthew Sykes, senior director, international marketing at Patrón Tequila said: “Sustainability has been a core pillar for Patrón since inception and throughout the years we’ve been working to continually introduce strategies and innovations that benefit both the environment and our people.

“It is a pleasure to see such inspirational professionals and judges from the drinks industry recognising our work.”
