The participating schools will now offer three levels of education on armagnac to their students in China. The participating schools include:
- Grapea Institute,
- Dragon Phoenix Wine Consulting, Beijing
- Aroma Republic
- Pleos Vine Academy
- Shanghai Vinosophie Ecole du Vin
- Tastes Spirits Wine Academy
- Ease Scent Wine School
- Zhulian Wines Consulting
- Bordeaux Wine Campus in Bordeaux
Armagnac is produced in the Armagnac region in Gascony, southwest France. It is distilled from wine usually made from a blend of grapes including Baco, Colombard, Folle Blanche and Ugni blanc, traditionally using column stills. The resulting spirit is then aged in oak barrels and categorised by VS, VSOP and XO age statements.
