David Miliband to speak at TFWA Cannes

13 July, 2016

Former UK foreign secretary David Miliband and once regarded as a future prime minister, is the keynote speaker at this year’s TFWA Cannes inaugurual conference.

He will be joined by Julián Díaz González, CEO of Dufry, whose company generates approximately 25% of global airport duty free sales and Randi Zuckerberg who played a key role in the genesis of Facebook.

Miliband will explore the implications of Britain’s likely divorce from the EU and address the wider geopolitical scene.

González will present his vision for the future of duty free and travel retail.

Zuckerberg will share her thoughts on how new technologies are changing consumer behaviour in the 21st century.

They will join TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen (pictured), who will outline the challenges and the opportunities facing duty free and travel retail at a time of considerable political and economic change and a slowing of growth of global sales.
