Britvic awarded 2.5 stars in business CR index

Britvic has been awarded 2.5 stars in Business in the Community’s Corporate Responsibility Index. 

The award recognises the company’s responsible business practices in its operations such as having strong culture and values about environmental impact and transparency over pay policies.

Alison Rothnie, senior sustainable business manager at Britvic, said: “To be awarded 2.5 stars for Business in the Community is fantastic recognition of the progress we have made against our goal of delivering sustainable growth with integrity.”

She added that the company is, “committed to tackling the big societal and environmental issues we face such as the rising levels of obesity and the increasing threats associated with climate change.”

The 2016 Corporate Responsibility Index is published as part of Responsible Business Week, this year held between18-22 April 2016. It is an annual campaign to inspire businesses to take action that drives positive change in society while raising awareness at the same time.
