Argento changes hands

The Argento Wine Company has been sold to Inversora Agroindustrial Sudamericana by British wine company Bibendum Wine.

IAS owns several hundre hectares of vineyards in Mendoza as well as Bodega Vistalba, Bodega Garzon in Uruguay and Renwood winery in Amador county, California.

AWC will continue to operate with offices in London, Mendoza and continental Europe. Argento was launched in 1999 and is available in more than 50 countries. Its main markets are: US, Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, UK and the UAE.
