Bringing experience from some of The World’s 50 Best Bars such as London’s The Connaught and Scarfes Bar, Maiorano is joined by assistant bar manager Ian Lui and senior bartender Cynthia Wong.
Lui joins the team from Rosewood Bangkok, with Wong joining from OBE Bar, based at fine wine and dining members club, Club Bâtard Hong Kong, having previously worked at Scarfes.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be returning to the Rosewood family, once again, and to have the opportunity to contribute my own mark on a bar as prestigious as Dark Side. It’s a place where history, creativity, and craftsmanship converge, and I’m excited to help shape its next chapter,” said Maiorano.
In the role, Maiorano hopes to develop a bar programme that champions social impact, using cocktails to inspire and foster positive change within the community.
