Bacardi's global travel retail md is going to William Grant as group marketing director

Maurice Doyle, managing director of the Bacardi Global Travel Retail division, is leaving at the end of July to join William Grant & Sons, makers of Glenfiddich, The Balvenie and Hendricks gin, as group marketing director.

He is quoted as saying: I am very proud of the work we have done as a team since we set up Bacardi Global Travel Retail as a stand-alone unit within Bacardi in 2006."

"The team has made very significant progress on all our marketing, financial, and people goals, and I wish them continued success."

Doyle's successor has yet to be announced.
