Amber Beverage Group to acquire Russian spirits producer Permalko

22 November, 2018

Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has confirmed it will complete the acquisition of Permalko, one of the oldest producers of spirits in Russia.

Seymour Ferreira, CEO of Amber Beverage Group, confirmed that ABG plans to retain all of the Permalko operational management team and staff.

“Our strategy is focused on the large markets that will allow us to continue our growth plans,” said Ferreira.

“Currently we have 10 primary markets that we are focusing on. These include US, Canada, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Australia and, of course – Russia. Having the Permalko team on board will make our position considerably stronger in this growing market.”

Permalko spirits are already exported to Europe, the US and Africa, and Russian regions such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok and Irkutsk.

Permalko’s portfolio consists of more than 20 kinds of spirits including vodka, balsam and liqueurs.
