Crowdfunding success for London brewery

23 April, 2018

London-based brewery, The Five Points Brewing Company, has surpassed its crowdfunding target of £750,000 a week early.

The Five Points Brewing Company began its crowdfunding campaign on 9 March, 2018 with the intention to treble the brewery’s production capacity.

Since launching the campaign, more than 1,250 investors have signed up to become a ‘Five Points Funder’ and now that the target has been met, the brewery is opening a taproom at the Pembury Tavern.

The Five Points Brewing Company will also be using the funds raised to invest in brewing equipment and fermentation tanks which will help them increase sales from 2m to 6m pints a year.
