Altia appoints Gräsbeck as communications director

Altia, the leading Nordic and Baltic wine and spirits company, has made Petra Gräsbeck its new communications director.

The 39-year-old is a professional in communications and corporate relations, with experience of the food industry and consumer products.

She moves to Altia from the biomedicine company AbbVie in the pharmaceutical industry. Gräsbeck has formerly been engaged in communication positions in the Finnish brand companies Hartwall and Berner. Gräsbeck will report to CEO Pekka Tennilä.

Gräsbeck said: “Through communications, we seek to support Altia’s growth strategy both in Finland as well as in the Nordic and Baltic countries. We want to pursue effective, open, modern communications. With this in mind, we will pay attention to both digital and accountability communications.”

Altia’s own brands include Blossa, Chill Out, Explorer, Grönstedts, Jaloviina, Koskenkorva, Larsen, OP Anderson, Renault, Xanté and Skåne Akvavit. Altia’s partner brands include Codorniu, Drostdy-Hof, Jack Daniel’s, Nederburg, Ravenswood and Robert Mondavi.
