Espaco Porto Cruz wins wine tourism award

Espaco Porto Cruz, the multimedia exhibition for contemporary Portuguese culture by young artists, has won the Best of Wine Tourism Award for the area of Porto, Portugal.

It is owned and was created by Porto Cruz, the Port brand owned by French company, La Martiniquaise.

Located on the banks of the Douro, in an eighteenth-century building that is said to combine tradition with modernity and showcases young Portuguese artists.

Porto or Oporto is one of the Great Wine Capitals of the World. The organisation described Espaco Porto Cruz as: “With its stunning interior design, the Espaco Porto Cruz is a place for learning, display and relaxation, offering new sensory experiences based around Port wine via interactive multi touch tables, short educational films, wine shop, exhibitions, tasting room, food and wine pairing and a terrace lounge 360° with Port wine cocktails while enjoying the magnificent panorama of the old city of Oporto.”
