Diageo North America has launched three new Sorbet-inspired Smirnoff flavours, aimed at women looking for ‘lighter’ spirits.

Smirnoff Sorbet Light Raspberry Pomegranate, Sorbet Light Mango Passion Fruit and Sorbet Light Lemon are available in the US off-trade for $15.99 per 75cl bottle.

This new line of vodkas are all 78 calories per 1.5 oz. serving, which is said to be 25% fewer calories than the market’s leading dessert-inspired flavored vodkas.

The Sorbet Light range is infused with natural flavourings, according  to Diageo NA.

Sandhya Padmanabhan, brand manager for Smirnoff said: “Smirnoff Sorbet Light is the next flavor experience for those women who strive to lead a balanced lifestyle, but never at the expense of delicious cocktails.

“Today’s multifaceted woman inspired Smirnoff to think differently and create a product that would make guilt free, delectable drinks that truly embody the refreshingly light taste of sorbet.”
