Foster's EMEA does £30m deal with Cert Octavian

21 December, 2009

Foster’s EMEA has appointed Cert Octavian as its new distributor.

The contract covers Foster’s EMEA business for three years from May 2010 with an additional two year option in a deal which could exceed £30 million.

Foster’s EMEA portfolio comprises over 80 brands including VB, Rosemount, Penfolds, Wolf Blass, Lindemans and Crown Ambassador.

Foster’s EMEA Director, regional supply services & production, Rob Hollis said: “We were determined to conduct a rigorous tender to identify the best logistics provider for our future needs. Cert Octavian put together a competitive and in the end a compelling, all round business case and beat fierce competition to be awarded with the contract.”

Cert Octavian managing director, Anthony Finlayson-Green said: “To say I am delighted and proud of my team’s achievement is an understatement. This is without doubt one of the most sought after contracts in our business sector, and winning is testimony to the progress we have made as a company.”

The Foster’s EMEA contract will be handled principally from Cert Octavian’s distribution hub at Lutterworth.
