Barcelona Wine Week experienced a 30% increase in both exhibitor numbers and exhibition space in its fifth edition, which concluded 5 February.

The Regulatory Council Technical Services of DO Cava has forecast a quality harvest for the Spanish wine region after spring rainfall ended a prolonged period of drought.

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, CVNE, has acquired Bodegas La Val, located in Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin (DO), Spain.

Sales in the first nine months of 2021 of sparkling wines made under the protection of the DO Cava have increased by 16.45% on the same period in 2020.
