The UK 's most famous wine merchant blames high running costs for closure

Berry Bros. & Rudd has announced the closure of its Dublin shop from the end of July.

The UK’s most famous wine merchant blames high running costs combined with high retail rents in Dublin. It states it has been unable to make an acceptable return despite a decade of investment in the operation.

The shop at 4 Harry Street will close on July 31.
