A new website has been launched to showcase Cognac cocktails.
www.cognacsummit.com features thirteen cocktail recipes and facts about how bartenders all over the world have been using the drink in cocktails since the 1800’s. Mixes include the Sidecar, the Brandy Alexander and the Champagne. www.cognacsummit.com takes you through each cocktail in easy stages with video images, downloadable recipes, and a plain English dictionary of terms.
Last January, 30 of the best bartenders in the world got together in Cognac to create a brand new Cognac cocktail for the 21st century. Three days, endless recipe ideas and many shakers later, they presented The Summit, a simple, refreshing cocktail made with VSOP Cognac. See the website for the recipe.
