William Grant & Sons has appointed a managing director for Latin America

22 February, 2018

William Grant & Sons has appointed Enda O’Sullivan as managing director to Latin America, overseeing the hoped for growth of the company’s brand portfolio.

O’Sullivan (pictured) joined William Grant & Sons in 2010 as global brand director for the Sailor Jerry rum brand before being appointed as global brand director for Glenfiddich in 2014.

He added Grant’s whisky to his responsibilities in 2015. Grant says during his tenure, Glenfiddich returned to its position as the world’s number 1 single malt, maintained its status as the ‘World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky’ and continued to be an industry leader in innovation, illustrated by the success of the Glenfiddich Experimental Series.
Based in Mexico City, the company says O’Sullivan will work with regional partners to unlock the significant growth opportunities that exist in one of the most dynamic markets in the world.

He will have a particular focus on Glenfiddich single malt scotch, Grant’s whisky, Hendrick’s - the super-premium gin, and Monkey Shoulder, the malt whisky that is designed for mixing.
O’Sullivan said; “We will continue to build long term relationships with our committed distribution partners to grow our world class brands in the region.”
William Grant & Sons’ president and managing director, Americas Jonathan Yusen, said: “Enda has a strong personal belief in energising and empowering teams to work together to deliver ambitious commercial growth. He will bring enormous drive and dynamism to the business in this region.”
