Mateus launches its first app

08 September, 2016

Portuguese wine brand Mateus has launched its first app, Mateus Perfect Serve.

Available for IOS and Android, the app lets users know when their bottle of Mateus is at the correct temperature and perfect to serve. Users select the style of Mateus wine they are drinking, the approximate room temperature and where they are chilling the wine and then an alarm will go off when the wine is ready to serve.

This is the latest initiative from brand owner Sogrape's £1.5m investment in the UK market this year.

Rupert Lovie, Sogrape UK marketing manager, said: “Mateus is a strong brand but it has enormous potential to further increase its reach by introducing it to a new group of consumers."

Mateus Perfect Serve is available to download via its recently launched website: http://mateus-perfect-serve.mateusrose.com
