Diageo launches Guinness Africa Special

31 March, 2016

Diageo is introducing a new beer created for the ‘next generation’ of Guinness drinkers, Africa Special.

The new variant is the first major innovation for the brand from within Africa for over 10 years.

Chris Laidlaw, global marketing manager, Guinness, said:  “Modern Africa is filled with an unprecedented energy and creativity – the new generation of drinkers are forging their own paths and identities. A continent that’s alive inside now has a drink to match.”

To support the launch Guinness is unveiling “Alive Inside” - an 80-second film that will break in Nigeria and online and be accompanied by an out of home campaign.

Guinness Africa Special will roll out across the continent after its Nigeria launch.
