Aske and Stephenson enter pre-mixed fray

11 February, 2015

Bartending duo Thomas Aske and Tristan Stephenson launched a range of pre-mixed drinks yesterday at their London bar, Worship Street Whistling Shop.

Produced in a facility in London’s Mile End, the three 50cl bottled cocktails are eponymously branded Aske Stephenson.

The range comprises: Peanut and Butter Jam Old Fashioned (36%, RRP £34.99), Revery (27%, RRP £29.99) and Leather and Walnut 1852 (36%, RRP £34.99). There will also be one-off barrel-aged products.

The products are available to purchase online through Master of Malt and Speciality Drinks.

Aske said: "The philosophy of our new company is to innovate, push boundaries and effectively lift the lid on alcohol development.”

The bartenders, who are also consultants under the banner Fluid Movement, have encouraged customers to visit their facility and watch the production process, “lifting the lid on modernist production techniques that are very often shielded in privacy”.

Aske added: “What we do is very specialist and can be highly complex, but it needn’t be shrouded in secrecy. We want to show people what we are making and how we do it, and then they can buy products made by us which can be enjoyed at home or on a larger scale."
