Rémy appoints new CFO

Rémy has appointed a new chief financial officer following Frédéric Pflanz ‘s planned ascension to the CEO role.

Luca Marotta, aged 47, has taken the CFO position. Marotta joined the L’Oréal Group in 1999 where he was finance director of the Italian subsidiary, and subsequently CFO of the international luxury products division. Since 2010, he has been CFO of the consumer products division, based in Paris.

Frédéric Pflanz, who joined Rémy in 2010 as CFO, has also been chief operating officer since December 2012.

Pflanz will succeed Jean-Marie Laborde, whose term of office as chief executive officer of Rémy Cointreau will end on 30 September 2013.
