ProWein heads to China

21 August, 2012

ProWein is heading to a trade show in China. The German show is to take a Tasting Zone – called ProWine - at Wine & Spirits China 2012, which takes place in Shanghai from November 14-16.

The collaboration between China International Exhibitions and Messe Düsseldorf, the organisers of ProWein, is said to be an “important step in the development of the wine market in China”.

Hans Werner Reinhard, deputy managing director at Messe Düsseldorf and chairman of Messe Düsseldorf China said: “ProWein in partnership with the publishing house Meininger Verlag will be organising a top-notch tasting and seminar range in the Wine & Spirits hall.

“At the “ProWine Tasting Zone”, we bring the core expertise of ProWein together with local demand. At the same time, we are also taking a key step towards the internationalisation of ProWein in Düsseldorf.”

The ProWine Tasting Zone covers 500 square metres and it is to include 300 international wines for open tasting.
