Stock Spirits enlists non-exec directors

Stock Spirits Group has appointed Waldemar Maj and Dominique Bach as non-executive directors.

Maj’s most most recent role was as a founding partner of Metropolitan Capital Solutions.

Prior to that, he was chief finance officer, vice president of PKN Orlen, a Fortune 500 oil refining and marketing company listed on the Warsaw stock exchange.

Maj has also occupied the role of vice president in charge of corporate banking and the treasury at Bank BGZ /Rabobank and was  president and CEO of DZ Bank Polska.

He will serve as chairman of Stock Spirits Group’s audit committee.

Bach has experience in growing and developing large FMCGs (fast moving consumer goods).

From 2003-08 he was president of Pepsico Foods in the CEE (central and eastern European) markets.

In the late nineties, he was with Louis-Vuitton/Moet-Hennessy as president and CEO of Chandon Estates.

Previous to that he was managing director of Masterfoods Sweden, Masterfoods France and held a brand development role at Groupe Danone.

Jack Keenan, non-executive chairman said: “Waldemar brings unique Polish banking advisory and market experience, and Dominique has a solid understanding and track record of growing strong brands in CEE markets.

“Their contribution which will prove invaluable as we continue to grow Stock Spirits and build on our position as central Europe’s leading spirits and liqueurs group.”
