Diageo reported a net sales decline of 1.4% to $20.3 billion for the year end 30 June 2024 which the company pinned on unfavourable foreign exchange and inflation.

Diageo has announced its preliminary results, year ended 30 June, reporting net sales of £17.1 billion, increased 10.7%, primarily reflecting strong organic net sales growth, and favourable impacts from foreign exchange.

Diageo, purveyor of Johnnie Walker and Guinness, has announced half year results to 31 December 2022 with reported net sales of £9.4bn, increased 18.4%, reflecting strong organic net sales growth.

Diageo reported that first-half net sales increased 15.8% to £8 billion as the on-trade rebounded and off-trade demand remained strong.

Diageo has outperformed analysts’ expectations by reporting organic net sales growth of 16% for the year to June 30.
