Chapel Down sales up a third

English wine and beer producer Chapel Down Group saw sales climb 33% to £3.25m, with gross profit up 31% to £1.17m.

The Chapel Down Nebuchadnezzar is now on sale at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London. 

Chapel Down, the English winemaker, has secured more than £4.3 million in new equity funding to expand the business and help grow its reputation both at home and overseas.

English Wine Producers, the generic body representing English wine producers, is to exhibit at Prowein for the first time.
