Free Run Wines earns British Retail Consortium credibility

10 April, 2017

Free Run Wines has become the first independent UK wine importer to gain certification to the British Retail Consortium.

Free Run Wines is a wine business based in England which specialises in supplying off-trade outlets such as supermarkets and wholesalers.

The BRC Agents and Brokers Standard ensures that every aspect of a wine distributer meets a certain standard covering food safety, quality and legality.

Charles Elms, director at Free Run Wines, said: “This certification is an important step forward for Free Run Wines as it demonstrates to our customers that our processes meet the leading internationally recognised quality standard in our industry.

“We anticipated the requirements of our clients and decided we needed to gain this certification. This accreditation recognises our best practices here at Free Run."
