Brown Bros appoints Fells

John E Fells has announced that Brown Brothers, one of Australia’s leading family owned wine companies has appointed Fells as its exclusive UK distributor from September 1.

Established in 1889 by John Francis Brown, Brown Brothers is a founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wine. The company sees itself as a leading new world innovator and varietal specialist.

Fells was founded in London in 1858 and  is owned by Symington Family Estates, owners of port houses Cockburn's, Graham’s, Dow and Warre. It together with Miguel Torres, producers of the leading Spanish wines Sangre de Toro and Vina Sol, are long standing shareholders in the company.
