07 August, 2012

US: Good Time Beverages is to roll out its premixed products and spirits pouches in eight additional states.

Bob & Stacy's Premium Margarita (15%abv) and Big Barrel Spirits (40%abv) are to be available in Missouri, Tennessee, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Wisconsin,Hawaii, Georgia and Illinois. The products come in re-sealable pouches.

Good Time Beverages also has product distribution in California, Florida, Texas, Arizona and Nevada, and plans for further expansion later this year.

Robert K. Whyte, CEO of Good Time Beverages said: "With all of the inherent outdoor sports and recreation opportunities in each of these new markets - not to mention huge events like the Kentucky Derby Festival, Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, the country music festivals in Wisconsin, Chicago's Lollapalooza and, well, pretty much anything you'd be doing in Hawaii - Bob & Stacy's pre-made margarita, made with premium tequila, is a prefect fit for anyone looking to enjoy an innovative, quality, spirits-based - not wine or malt - ready-to-drink cocktail product, that also leaves a much lower carbon footprint than more traditional pre-mixed cocktails in glass or metal containers."

The company is set to launch  a Vodka Cosmo and an American Grain Vodka later in 2012.

Sustainability: No more excuses

COP26 littered newspaper headlines throughout November. The focus was supposed to be on resolving the climate change crisis, but predictably turned into a game of political chess. In the absence of any authoritative leadership, our industry needs to set an example.
