Group Toorank launches Sloane’s Gin

24 August, 2011

Netherlands-based distillery, Group Toorank, has launched Sloane’s Gin to the UK market.

The 40% abv brand is priced at £22.50 and has been billed as “inspired by the great gins of the past when gin had the wonderful influence of juniper”.

According to the brand, the ten botanicals used during distillation include juniper berries and iris root from Italy, coriander from Morocco, angelica and liquorice root from India, whole vanilla beans from Madagascar, and oranges and lemons from Spain

The brand said: “Only once our master distiller is happy with the flavour of the individual distillates are they carefully blended together one at a time, thus creating subtle layers of flavour."

Group Toorank also has an operation in Poland.
