Altia launches new strategy

Altia Plc, the major Nordic wine and spirits company, has launched a new strategy to achieve major improvements in profitability by the year 2016.

Altia, the Nordic and Baltic wine and spirits company, has announced the appointment of 44-year-old Pekka Tennilä, who has been poached from Carlsberg.

Altia has signed an agreement to acquire cognac brand Renault from Pernod Ricard for a cash consideration of €10m.
