Moët Hennessy has officially denied claims that it is looking to divest its wines and spirits arm.

Moët Hennessy has officially denied claims that it is looking to divest its wines and spirits arm.

Reports in British newspapers said drinks giant Diageo was in talks with the company over the purchase of its Champagne interests.

A statement from LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) said: “LVMH officially denies reports in certain newspapers that suggest the group is in discussions to divest Moët Hennessy, its Wines & Spirits division. 


"LVMH confirms that no such negotiations are taking place.”
