Armagnac Academies debuts in San Francisco

Armagnac Academies will make its debut in San Francisco on May 22 to educate members of the trade.

The day-long event hosted by the Bureau National Interprofessionel de L’Armagnac will take place at Greens Restaurant and writer Jason Wilson and bartender H Joseph Ehrmann will attend as special guests.

The attending students will endure a day of lectures on the history, production zones, soil types, grape varieties and the distillation methods as well as having tasting sessions.

The students will be tested at the end of the day with the opportunity of earning an official BNIA diploma.

Armagnac Academies has previously visited London and China and will return to New York for the third year running on May 16 where writer Toby Cecchini will be the guest speaker.
