Cape Wine Auction: lots of lots

29 January, 2016

The AfrAsia Bank Cape Wine Auction organisers say there are 40 extraordinary once-off lots, the selling of which will benefit youth education in the South African winelands.

You can bid for a set of 10 vintages each from seven of South Africa's most iconic wineries, an 1800 Muscat vintage and an expansive six vintage vertical magnum collection.

If you are after wine travel, there are villas in Portofino, Tuscany and a château in France; stays at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in England, a VIP trip to the Bisquit Chateau in Cognac and multiple decadent luxury Cape Town & safari experiences apparently, say the auction organisers

They say included in the auction are: “An incredible collection of 70 bottles of wine, 10 unique bottles from each winery ranging from 1986 – 2012. They come from the likes of: Klein Constantia Vin de Constance, Kanonkop Paul Sauer, Vilafonté Series C, Hamilton-Russell Pinot Noir, Warwick Trilogy, The Sadie Family Columell & Hartenberg Gravel Hill Syrah.

Online bidding is now open. You can bid from anywhere in the world. Hands in pockets and get online.
