Sandeman releases six-label collection to mark 225th anniversary

11 November, 2015

Port house Sandeman has announced the release of a six-bottle collection to celebrate its 225-year history.

Sandeman 225th Anniversary Collection is a case of six bottles of Sandeman 2000 Vintage Port, each bearing a different label depicting significant moments in Sandeman's History.

George Sandeman, 7th generation of The House of Sandeman, said: “This is an important moment in our history and it is important to take time to pause and celebrate.

“After having launched Sandeman Cask 33 earlier this year, a Very Old Tawny Porto that is an authentic representation of Sandeman’s stock of Aged Tawnies, now we want to offer people the opportunity to join us and enjoy our celebration of history with this Sandeman 2000 Vintage Porto."

Two hundred and twenty five complete collections of Sandeman 225th Anniversary Collection will be available from mid-November. The collection starts at £70 and will be available at the St. Swithins Lane Wine shippers, Vin Neuf Wine Merchant, Slurp online store and S. H. Jones Wines.
