Diageo appoints chief procurement officer

Diageo has appointed Thibaut Eissautier to the role of chief procurement officer. 

Eissautier is to join Diageo from private label business McBride, where he has been CPO and also led the company’s R&D (research and development) function.  Eissautier is to report to Diageo’s president global supply & procurement, David Gosnell. The appointment will take effect on August 1, 2012.

Eissautier will be moving with his family to London from his current home in Lille, France. He takes over from Gerry O’Hagan who has been acting as interim CPO since September last year when previous incumbent John Dickson left the company.
