Prince Charles has officially opened the new Johnnie Walker store and global visitor centre in Edinburgh.

The Worshipful Company of Distillers has announced a new programme of scholarships and bursaries for more than 100 students over the next three years.

AB InBev will spend $200,000 annually over a five year commitment to help black students qualify for careers in brewing.

The International Wine and Spirits Institute (IWSI), based in Bordeaux, is to open an eight-week spirits training programme in London next year.
