Cumulus Estate wines appoints new brand ambassador

09 November, 2009

Cumulus Estate Wines has appointed a brand ambassador to its European team.

Michael Fischer’s responsibilities will be to engage the trade, press and consumers through the Cumulus Estate sampling and selling campaign. The main objective is to encourage as many people as possible throughout Europe to taste wines from its Rolling, Climbing and Cumulus range. Trade fairs, consumer tastings, wine society talks and in-store tastings will all be on the cards.

Fischer graduated from Geisenheim with a degree in International Wine Business and he has worked in the German wine industry in a sales and marketing role.

Liz Stich, managing director EMEA Cumulus Estate Wines, said: “We are delighted at Michael’s appointment. He brings not only an in-depth knowledge of wine but also a wealth of experience in hands-on selling. Michael has all the enthusiasm and staying power needed to show Rolling, Climbing and Cumulus to the masses! Cool-climate estate wines from Orange are relatively new to most markets in Europe and when consumers have the opportunity to taste, they are overwhelmed by the elegant style and depth of flavour. With Michael on board we can bring our wines to the public.”
