Beam Suntory takes over Sipsmith

Beam Suntory has taken over British craft gin and vodka producer, Sipsmith.

It has been announced that the Japanese drinks giant, has taken a ‘controlling interest’ in the craft distiller.

The statement says co-founders, Sam Galsworthy and Fairfax Hall will continue to run the company and the operation will remain in London.

Sipsmith started in 2009. The range includes London Dry Gin, London Cup, Sloe Gin, and V.J.O.P (Very Junipery Over Proof) Gin.
