Draft wine delivery brand launches in UK

09 January, 2018

The first draft wine delivery company, LoveWineOnTap.com has launched in the UK to serve on-trade outlets.

The online business is dedicated to delivering wines in one-way kegs direct from wineries to bars and restaurants to serve on tap.

“Our model is to offer venues a wide choice of wines on tap, directly via our portal,” said George Workman, managing director at LoveWineOnTap.com. “It is ideal for venues who want to develop their by-the-glass business. No hidden costs, no fuss.”

The company believes that having wines on tap means that they can be served by the glass, allowing consumers to try different wines without the bar opening multiple bottles.

The company says that all of its wine is kept at appropriate temperatures and does not come into contact with air or light, therefore keeping it fresh.

According to LoveWineOnTap.com, pouring from taps is four times faster than from a bottle and reduces transport and packaging costs.

There are environmental advantages too. According to the brand,  each 20L one-way keg removes 27 glass bottles as well as corks, foil and labels that may otherwise end up in landfill.

Workman added: “Over the past nine years our team has worked with vineyards across Europe to identify wines grown by passionate and innovative wine producers.”

LoveWineOnTap.com offers 24 varietals of wine across every category online with a wine tap installation service also available.
