Beam appoints EMEA president

Beam Global Spirits & Wine has appointed Albert Baladi as president of Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), effective March 5.

As president of EMEA, Baladi will lead Beam Global’s growth strategy in the region and will serve on the group's executive leadership team, reporting to president and CEO Matt Shattock.

Shattock said: “The EMEA region holds tremendous growth opportunities for Beam Global. Given Albert’s proven track record of leading impactful international growth strategies, we are certain he is the right individual to lead our EMEA team."

Baladi has almost 25 years of experience in international business, operations, brand development and marketing for consumer companies.

Most recently, he led Yum! Restaurants International’s $1.5 billion retail sales business across Australia and New Zealand as managing director, South Pacific, and has held roles at PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.
