Former Wine Australia boss joins Wine Intelligence

13 January, 2011

Former Wine Australia boss Paul Henry is to join wine research company Wine Intelligence as associate director.

Until December 2010, Henry was Wine Australia’s general manager for market development.

His main areas of focus for Wine Intelligence’s clients will be the growing market opportunities in the Asia Pacific region, and developing effective global brand strategies within the wine category.

Lulie Halstead, chief executive of Wine Intelligence, said: “We are honoured that Paul Henry has chosen Wine Intelligence to be part of the next step in his career. His experience and abilities are exactly what’s required to tackle some of the major strategic issues our clients are facing, and I very much look forward to working closely with him in the future.”

Henry will operate from Adelaide and joins Stephanie Duboudin, country manager Australia, who is based in Melbourne.

Henry will also work closely with Jenny Li, Wine Intelligence’s China specialist.

Whilst working in collaboration with Wine Intelligence, Henry will continue to manage Winehero, the branding and marketing communications consultancy he founded.
