Mount Gay Rum will unveil a new blend at Fort Lauderdale duty free show this month.

Mount Gay Rum will reveal a new blend at Fort Lauderdale duty free show this month.

Mount Gay Rum Extra Old will be previewed by Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail and it is a blend of aged spirits from the Mount Gay reserves. The rum will be presented in a new bottle embossed with the company crest.

The rum is being unveiled at the show because the US “accounts for 35% of global sales of rum with other countries in the Americas adding up to a further 20%”.

Mount Gay Rum Extra Old has been created by master blender Allen Smith to appeal to its existing customer base across the world and to other connoisseurs of premium and super-premium brown spirits.
