Simone Caporale: Life in the fast lane

26 July, 2021

“I used to watch Formula 1 every Sunday with my father, so it’s a dream come true. I feel like a big kid,” says Caporale. “I had the privilege of meeting Sebastian Vettel and he’s a beautiful person who knows how to make people feel comfortable. He’s the bartender of Formula 1.”

The goal of the campaign is to connect with bartenders around the world to help them elevate their serve and Global Bartending agency has helped deploy the initiative in different markets.

Caporale adds: “The way a drink is served is crucial to a guest’s experience, so we’ve worked together with Global Bartending to launch Servito Con Stile, which has invested heavily in the professional culture of every bartender who wishes to participate. It’s not a competition, it’s just about allowing bartenders to increase their professionalism.”

While Caporale continues to lead online training for the bartenders involved across different markets, he will showcase the movement on the glamorous stage of F1, making him one of the hottest properties in world bartending.

“Every day I feel lucky doing what I do, I feel so privileged. Yet at the same time I still get joy from serving customers the best I can – to make them feel comfortable and welcome, because that’s what being a bartender is all about.”
