Le Phant is a series of five wines launched by Elephant Hill (12.5-14% abv), only initially available in Asia. Elephant Hill will donate a percentage of each bottle sold to the Elephant Family charity.
The wines carry labels featuring elephant sculptures from Elephant Parade, a social enterprise that runs an art exhibition of decorated elephant sculptures in aid of elephant conservation, which have exhibited in more than 20 cities around the world.
The latest Elephant Parade 101-strong herd (in recognition of the 101 elephant corridors created by the charity to enable safe passage to fresh feeding grounds) arrived in Mumbai in February 2018, India being home to the world’s largest population of Asian elephants.
The five wines are: Le Phant Blanc 16, Le Phant Rosé 17, Le Phant Rouge 16, Le Phant Sauvignon Blanc 16 and Le Phant Syrah 15.
