Olmeca gets marketing director

24 July, 2013

Pernod Ricard has appointed a marketing director for its Olmeca tequila brand.

Lisa McCann is to commence the new role in August and joins the team from Pernod Ricard USA, where she has spent two years as brand director for Malibu.

McCann has worked for Pernod Ricard for 13 years, joining the company as a brand ambassador on the Jameson Graduate Programme in 2000.

Olmeca also announced that Michael Kaller has left the company after eight years. Kaller was international brand development director in 2011.

Olivier Fages, international vice president of Olmeca Tequila, said: “We see great potential for our brands globally in the coming years and with Lisa’s ability evident from the great success that she has achieved in her previous roles, we are sure that her wealth of marketing experience will contribute towards Olmeca’s continued growth.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Michael Kaller for his commitment and passion for the Olmeca brand over the last eight years.”
