China: Kweichow Moutai aims to up liqueur production

Traditional Chinese liqueur maker Kweichow Moutai Co plans to spend roughly 1.46 billion yuan ($212 million) to up production capacity.

 

 

Traditional Chinese liqueur maker Kweichow Moutai Co plans to spend roughly 1.46 billion yuan ($212 million) to up production capacity.

According to Reuters, the company plans to increase its production capacity by 2000 tonnes. Plans include ten new workshops and finances would be raised without using funds from the public markets.  

According to www.moutaichina.com, the company’s current annual product is around10,000 tonnes.
