Poetic License says Northern Dry (43.2% abv) features 13 natural botanicals which are distilled at the company’s base on the north east coast of England. The juniper is said to be finely balanced with green cardamom for a spicy flavour, while undertones of lemon and eucalyptus and the inclusion of Persian lime intensifies the citrus feel and adds a note of perfume.

The company says Old Tom (41.6%) has a sweeter, more peppery taste by comparison due to the use of oak casks and the inclusion of rose petals, which give a slight rose gold tinge colour.
